At The Waverly
Capitol Hill · Seattle · By Appointment

Permanent work,
private space.

A consult-first studio. Not a walk-in shop.

01 / The Studio

A studio, not a shop.

At The Waverly is a private tattoo studio on Capitol Hill. Two artists, one room, one client at a time. We don't take walk-ins. Every piece starts with a consult — so we can talk through the idea, the placement, the budget, and whether we're the right fit.

We work mostly in blackwork, fineline, and color. Alissa is known for painting reproductions; Melt for clean linework. Sessions run from a quick afternoon to multi-day projects. You leave with aftercare instructions, a follow-up at two weeks, and something you're going to wear forever.

02 / The Artists

Two artists. One room.

Booking is per artist. Pick the one whose work matches your project — or let us route you at consult.

Five years tattooing in Seattle. Color and micro-detail: florals, gems, pets, and full-color reproductions of paintings. If you've been carrying a reference image for years and want it on skin, this is the room for it.

Fineline and blackwork — clean lines, considered placement, nothing wasted. A steady mix of small custom pieces and larger ongoing projects. Good first tattoo, good cover-up consult.

The session is the slowest part. Everything else is preparation.

Quiet music, one client at a time, breaks when you need them. We work in afternoons that turn into evenings.

06 / Common Questions

Things people ask.

No. Every piece starts with a consult so we can plan the design, the placement, and the timeline properly.
Tell us at consult. If we're not the right fit, we'll point you toward a Seattle studio that is. We'd rather route you than rush you.
$100, non-refundable. You can reschedule once with at least 72 hours' notice — the deposit moves to the new date.
Sometimes. Send a clear photo of the existing piece with your consult form. We'll tell you honestly whether we can work with it.
One companion is welcome. The room is small and we keep the energy calm, so leave the group at the bar around the corner.

Capitol Hill, Seattle. The exact address is shared by email once your consult is confirmed and your deposit is in.
Not on-site events. If you're planning a wedding piece or a matching set for a small group, mention it on the consult form — we'll set aside a longer session.
